Description

Grilled Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 450g brussels sprouts, as uniform in size as possible
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 10g garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Remove the stem end of the sprouts and any yellowing outer leaves
  • Heat on high in microwave for 3 minutes
  • Add olive oil, garlic, mustard, paprika and salt, mix and allow to cool a bit
  • Skewer 4-5 sprouts onto a metal skewer, leaving 1cm space between and facing the same direction
  • Place skewers onto a medium heated grill with stem end closest to flame, cover and cook for 5 minutes
  • Turn and cook for another 5 minutes and serve
